Live Fire Santa Maria-style Grill

LiveFire Argentinian Grill with Brasero

Argentina-style Live Fire Grill with Brasero

New product ready for orders. If you like to grill on charcoal or gas, or love your smoker and want that real-wood flavor, take a look.

This design borrows some common elements with Argentinian beef grilling – always live fire (meaning you start with a real wood fire and when it’s down to coals, use them to cook the meat), v-shaped grill elements to guide the fat and greases away from the fire to prevent flare-ups, and a vertically adjustable grill surface to let you control the cooking temperature precisely.

This image has the fire started in the side Brasero. When it burns down the coals drop through the grate to the firebrick bottom. The bottom and sides are lined with firebrick to ensure most of the heat gets used for cooking and not wasted.
At this point, the pork chops are grilling on the left and the iron skillet with potatoes is on the right with a loaf of bread warming behind the skillet. A crank of the ratcheted handle rotates the axle which lifts the grill to get the cooking temperature adjusted. If one side needs to be hotter than the other – such as when searing steaks, use more coals on that side.

The grilling surface is approximately 20” x 34”, the whole assembly is 24”D x 60”W x 64”H. Construction is heavy gauge 304 stainless steel, or carbon steel with high temperature paint. The front door lowers to make a table top for accessing coals or preparing items to go onto the grill. Heavy duty 5” casters make it easy to move.

Price is $2750 without delivery. It weights almost 500#, so if you’re not local to Dallas the delivery will be expensive.

304 Stainless steel is an option. Price for the stainless steel model is $3750.

Ducati ST3 Engine Table

This custom table was designed around a Ducati ST3 engine and original ST3 frame. The ST3 is a water cooled 3 valve/cylinder engine used in the ST3 sport touring motorcycle. The frame is modified to support the 26×52” glass top. The engine, frame, and table top appear to float with the cantilever-design stainless steel base which suspends them from the rear engine mounts. The engine has been modified to expose the vertical cylinder piston, valves, intake and exhaust passages, and other components normally hidden behind engine cases. The unique engine crank handle lets the observer understand the innovative Ducati Desmo valve operation system as the engine rotates.

This table and others similar to it all use a Ducati high performance motorcycle engine as the primary display and are fully unique and custom designs. Contact us for more information and availability.
